Online Safety for teens

Today in class i was told to blog about online safety for teens. I think this i s a very important subject because there are many people out there looking for trouble.Today you see on the news daily about how older men and women try to sexually abuse teens and Young children via the Internet. The Internet is used by over 75 % of teens today, its a way for us to stay in touch with each other and what everyone is doing. For example , most of us in this class have a myspace or facebook, its just something everyone does. Both of these have there ups and downs. Ive learned to never give out to much personal info about yourself online. Many people ignore this warning tho and unfortunately some bad things happen. So all in all i have learned that the Internet can be your best friend but it can also be your worst enemy.
