Button making expierence !
Today while creating my game in flash I attempted to learn how to create a button. It was very successful and way easier than I thought. What I did was watch the flash tutorial on Chez's blog. It took me step by step through what it was I had to do. So my button making experience was very simple and easy :)

The Canterbury Characters
Today I'm blogging on what & why I think all the characters in The Canterbury tales are so important to there story and time period. Why were they selected ? Well there are 29 characters that were picked all of them with some sort of relevance. All were going to the Cathedral for a certain reason. They were going to pay tribute to a shrine. From the Monk to the Nun all were there for something. The reason he picked these people are because the all kind of relate to each other or act the same way. Some are good and some are bad, they just relate and make the story better. Now for the time and people going together, I can agree with sum of it and other parts I cant. Some of it doesn't seem to fit together. Some of the descriptions of the characters didn't match up ,it seemed like they just were not described quite right. So to relate this to my game, ill talk about the importance of the development of your character in your game. There has to be a storyline with your game, with the storyline there has to be a character created to relate with the story. It is very important that you choose your characters wisely. Character selection is about the most important thing to do with your game. So this blog post all in all was just to let you know why I thought the characters in the Canterbury Tales were picked for and why i think picking characters is the most important thing in game designing

Uploading video clip
Today I uploaded my ideas of what my game was going to be about on my wiki. Honestly i made it a lot harder than it should of been. If I didn't have to use flash again I don't think I would be very upset, but ill just keep on doing what I'm doing. My game topic is going to be on poverty or along those lines. Hopefully everything turns a okay for me and my game creating skills. So now that i know how to upload files to my wiki , I think my life will be a whole lot easier.

Anglo saxons VS Video game Heros
Today I am blogging on the comparison of Video game hero's. So my first hero, my real life hero will be Nolan Ryan. From 1972 to 1979 Ryan was a hero to the pitching staff of the California Angels. Batters & even his own catcher feared him and his scorching fastball. He was a hero to his team and his fans. He played 27 seasons with 4 different teams, all of which he threw no hitters with besides the Mets. So Nolan Ryan was a hero to all baseball fans and made his way into the baseball hall of fame . So Nolan Ryan Real life hero, Now for my Anglo Saxon hero. Beowulf, Beowulf was a hero way back in the day. He fought for his people and what he thought was right. Always standing up for what he believed in and never once backing down or giving up on anything he did. He always kept pushing himself to do better and to be better to his people . So how do these 2 heros compare to each other ? Well beside both being heros both perform outstanding deeds. Fro example From Beuwulf "Higlac's brave follower tearing out his hand of the monster, his hatred rose higher but his power has gone." that seems like a good deed to me Nolan Ryan was comitted to his team throwing over 5000 strikeouts for his teams. That takes alot of dedication which to me is a good deed. Both Beowulf and Nolan Ryan give good speeches which makes a hero , they always know what to say. Both heros have a dedication to certain thing or group. Nolan Ryan to baseball and his team, Beowulf to his city and his people. Both are great heros. So to wrap this up I think that The Anglo Saxon heros put influence on the people who create video game heros today. They also influence people to do good. So these heros are not very differnt from each other if you think about . I actually think they favor each other alot.

Beowulf 3
Today I am blogging about what Beowulf is leaving to his people. Beowulf is leaving many things to, such as his legacy. Beowulf will always have a long lasting positive influence on his people. Another thing he is leaving them is hope. Since he is a hero , he has taken care of most of the bad things, therefore there is a bright future ahead of them. Beowulf has paved a bright way for his people and I'm sure things will go great for them. The biggest thing Beowulf is leaving the people is courage. Just from Beowulf being with these people , they have a sense of courage. The courage that they have learned enough skill and been taught enough to be able to live and thrive on their own. So Beowulf has left many things for these people to live off of. His legacy will influence his people to do what they have to do to survive.

Beowulf 2
Today I am blogging on a few questions asked by my English teacher on the book Beowulf. The first question asked me what I thought the storyteller's purpose of telling me about Beowulf was. Well i think that Beowulf had an impact on this persons life in one way or another. He must of been some kind of influence to this person or he or she wouldn't have a reason to tell us his great tale. So the main purpose of telling me about Beowulf was just by the fact of this person being helped out or influenced by Beowulf himself. The next question was , how do i think the storytellers beliefs of the intended audience affect the content of the story ? So back in the day when these story's were told, they were told at party's where people were hammered and very rarely remember what they were told the night before. So the storyteller must believe that his story will be turned around somehow due to the fact that these people wont remember what he or she had told them about the great warrior Beowulf.
